Chinese Woman's Paired Apron Wraparound Skirt  China.  1880s Silk, with silk satin stitch and seed stitch ("Forbidden Stitch") with gold metallic couching.  Fo Dog motif.  This exquisite skirt is in excellent condition.   39" long from the top of the cotton muslin waist band, 34"from the lower edge of the muslin band.  The waist band measures 43½," which allows the decorated back panel to lap over the plain section as much as desired.  This skirt is in excellent condition.  $850 E-7002  Larger full view photo               Large detail photo
