Hanging with Peacocks China.  Early 20th century Very pale lavender gray silk damask, embroidered with silver, gold, and silk.  43"x 73." Metallic threads are couched with a variety of colored silk threads. This dramatic, but very subtle hanging was nearly impossible to photograph. Thus I've lit it from one side to make the motifs a little more visible. The piece is in good condition, but somewhat fragile.
