Woman's Jacket China. Late 19th century Silk with leno weave dragon medallions, appliquéd butterfly details, warp-patterned ribbons, and gold couched sleeve bands. 54"across the shoulders;  38" long.  This robe is in excellent condition. The subtle leno-weave medallions in the sheer fabric are amazing. I've tried to show one of those in a detail photo, with a light behind it.
