Sequin Embroidered Hanging France (?)  Late 19th century.  62"x 40" Gold sequins and bullion on black satin. This very unusual embroidery is in excellent condition, but should probably be mounted. It currently has a self casing along the top for a rod.  See the detail photo page for an explanation of the startling embroidery process used.
