Japanese Furisode Late Meiji period, 1890-1910 Sheer ro silk with yuzen dyed floral motif. 48½"across the shoulders; 61"long. This gauze weave (leno) kimono was probably a young geisha's summer garment.  The yuzen painting is exceptional. The piece is in good condition, with a few tiny age spots, mainly on the sleeve fronts.
