MARLA MALLETT: TEXTILES Japanese Kimono 1930s. Soft figured rinzu silk, with painting and embroidery.  48½"across the shoulders; 61"long. This is a soft, luscious fabric, with painted vines and small embroidered accents. The ground color could be described as gray with a rosy tint, or as mauve.
