MARLA MALLETT: TEXTILES Sarkoy Kilim Northwestern Turkey. Circa 1900. Wool.  5'2"x 6'10." Slit tapestry. This kilim is in excellent condition, but the wool in Sarkoy kilims is normally very soft; thus these distinctive pieces are never very durable.
